At first I thought you were going to talk about the balance you have found lately. Maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea for you to search for some balance right now. I am sure she is just a darling on that ice! We plan to visit the rink here in town, just means finding the down time when it isn't full of fast skating kids!
Wow, your girl already looks so grown up and all! I don't quite remember what my kid was doing when he was 4, he rode his bije (no training wheels) with 3, so I guess that counts for balance too :)
Ja, do something for yourself, Yoga is great, but I find it very exhilarating too!
Ahhh - what wonderful memories you both will have. Ice Skating and tap dance were 2 things I wanted to do as a child and never got the chance.
Good for you and Zoe
Your daughter is so sweet. And, cute, too.
Zoe is just beautiful! Wait until she has you knitting her some skating sweaters.
Learning to let our children open themselves up to chance and risk getting hurt or failing is so hard! Keep in mind, just like when they are learning to walk, the falls at this age are much easier since they are closer to the ground, AND the more the fall (or fail) the more resiliant they will be later on when they are much taller and the falls are higher and the risk of failure even greater!
Be brave, Mom!
Great post, Jo. Zoe sounds like a really special kid. :)
Jo! Your blog looks great!! Your knitting is looking awsome. Love the mittens! I am on my 3rd pair now :) Aren't they great?!
Becca
