She lives, she knits,

Well I have written this post many times but never got to post it so it has changed over the weeks. I could talk about the kids school being closed because of the weather or about their spring break going to cooking classes all week but let's not. LOL!

This will be quick and easy, I have knitted socks and more socks. Some socks for my pregnant gym trainer's baby-to-be, they were made to match mom's socks. Socks for Carl's birthday 'cause he's been faithfully wearing his only handknit socks since last year and deserves a new pair. Socks for Zoe because Lucas had just gotten a pair and no kid of mine can get a pair without it's sibling getting socks too.

I have noticed that my three favorite pairs of socks were all knit toe up, so I am thinking of starting a new pair for "moi" toe up. I don't know if it's pure coincidence or not but have checked out a few patterns recently. I am undecided between Tangled up in blue or Wavy socks. The yarn I have is Fleece Artist's merino in colours from oranges to red.

Oh as a last bit of news, I have lost 20lb since I started going to the gym in late november. I am quite proud that all the efforts have paid off. I get called the gazelle at the gym 'cause I run like crazy on the treadmill. It's really fun to train and have the employees come up to chat a bit. I usually am really shy but it's been like the gym is now my 'place', I'm the social butterfly there. LOL!

Other good news, Carl found a job after being home for four months. He is really happy at what he is doing now and I'm a tad happy to see him out of the house.

Well back to our crazy life, luckily most of the kids activities end april 1st. Then, we will have more time to just relax instead of running around. That said, Lucas is hinting it is time to start his violin lessons!

20 pounds! Congrats! I wish I had the money for a trainer. I go to the gym 3X a week but can't afford the trainer. I keep losing and gaining the same pound ;) Posted by: Caroline at March 21, 2007 07:30 PM
