Nine yards!

Well this day marks nine years since the day Carl and I met. I now see how young we were and how fast our relationship became serious. We've had bumps and tornadoes along the way but we try to survive.

After knitting the body in four days, I didn't work on the
Lucy cardigan for a week. I started the sleeve last night but noticed that my gauge wasn't the same. Of course, I do not have the same tension when knitting stockinette flat or in the round so I'll be riping it and starting over. Sigh! I thought it was going too well too. LOL!

As a quick knit and to warm Zoe's head I made this hat with one Koigu skein. I used the
no swatch hat pattern (check nov. 21-27) and 'modified' the half-linen stitch pattern aka screwed up by knitting a knit row between each pattern row. Anyways, I think I had a yard of yarn left once it was done so I was pretty pleased.
I've been running around all week for tests and stuff and I just can't find the time to relax and knit. Luckily with the kids activities I get to knit at least twice a week. ;-)
hugs,

I love the blue cardigan you are working on. It's coming along nice, and I love the shade of blue!
I forgot to write - CONGRATS on 9 YEARS! To many more! Cheers!
Wow -- I *love* how your Lucy cardigan is coming along! The colour! And congrats on your anniversary, too. xo
All your knits look wonderful, very pretty colours. Your daughter looks so grown-up in the photo! Your 'stick to it-ness' through the "bumps and tornadoes" hopefully will make a relationship that grows stronger as the years pass. Best Wishes & Happiness for many years to come.
