Just received my 1st finishing techniques book and I sure need it. I avoid seaming projects because I have this fear of seams. Ha! Fear no more, I will try to make up some swatches to practice but frankly that sounds pretty boring. ;)
We started a new class at school, an english class. If you read my blog and it somewhat makes sense, you'll guess that I am pretty good for a francophone to write in english. We had a one-on-one interview with the teacher so she could judge our level. I told her a bit about myself, my blog and knitting. She knits too!!! We ended up talking about Peace Fleece and then I wrote my essay on Elizabeth Zimmemann. LOL! I've been placed as a strong level for english, sadly our class should be divided in three groups but she will stick to two. I will be with the intermediate level, so will Carl. I am so proud of him, he has come a loooon way when it comes to english comprehension. He ever ordered the new Harry Potter in english, well that might have to do with the fact that the french translation will only come out in october too. LOL!
Off to school I go,
