Happy 3!
Today marks three years since I first posted a few words on my blog. When I started blogging, I wasn't even knitting yet, it was more about me being a mom of two kids. I still blog a lot about family but have picked up knitting as a hobby along the way. I have made great online friends along the way, even got to meet more than a few between Montreal and Toronto.
To celebrate though I am taking a break from blogging (more sign generators here), who knows I might actually post more after saying this, which is what Kelly seems to be doing. Both Carl and I have recently gone jobless and it's been quite a journey dealing with our former employer. I am tired, really tired and just want to lift the pressure (that I put on myself) of posting new entries. I might go on vacation again, might not but Toronto is high on my list right now and no matter what others say, I LOVE Toronto!!!
My birthday is three weeks away and frankly all I want right now is to be happy! Much has happened in the last year and more so, since I started working january 2004. Our lives have turned upside down a few times since, we have always known to expect to unexpected but still it is hard. I feel that I have lost a few good friends along the way too. So I am taking a break to take care of myself and my family, they need me to be in a good mood, with energy and happy. This is not about you, it's all about me, it's my blog after all. LOL!
I will still knit, I will still comment on blogs, I hope to come back in a few weeks with a new blog design and a rested mind. As you can see I have quite a few projects lined up to keep me busy. Hopefully I will be able to come back with many new pictures, just like Laura often posts.
So I am off to care for these little ones that make my days so complete. BBQ's around here are more about toasted marshmallows and smores than actual supper. Who can blame them?

Yeah, I gave up for a little while but was seduced by the sleekness of my new WordPress installation. I do find that my level of blogging *has* gone down somewhat -- Less silly entries throughout the day, and more full-length posts about knitting or whatever.
That said, enjoy your break. If you come to the city, come by LK for SnB!

Seriously, though, you have been through the wringer, and a nice break with fun projects and those you love around you will do you a world of good. And that puzzle piece...I saw that, I think, on Sunday, and wondered what it was. It's beautiful, and you both are such cool people.
