Tuesday was the 1st time the school called us to get Zoe. She had been sick right after lunch time. When we got to school though she was all smiles and you would've never guessed this kid was sick. Right before bedtime Lucas gets sick, is this sibling sympathy? Then this morning Zoe decides to skip school, she's done for the year even, hun? We keep her home and after a few hours of coaxing we start to know more about her worries. See we have been dealing with sibling rivalry these past few days/weeks. I am an only child so this is all new to me, can't say I am always making the right decisions or that I am always fair but I try the best I can. I guess it's been takng a toll on Zoe though as she is simply fed up about the whole situation. I believe most importantly she needs her special time alone with undivided attention. Gosh, I wonder how others do it? After a whole day home playing with her brother though, she realizes how much she loves him and that they are here to stay, both of them. You sure never know what to expect from kids...

So today I've been knitting away to at least finish a project Zoe chose for her birthday. I thought it would make her happy to see that I've been knitting away on her special gift. She helped me stuff him with carded wool and sat next to me a long time to just talk and see me knit. I told her it might be time for her to start knitting and she advised me that she had plans for a skirt, poncho and sweater for her new Snow White doll. Well... let's start with a doll scarf honey! ;)

As soon as I finish this huge Baby Bobbi Bear, I will be casting on purple clogs for Lucas, he wants his just like mommy and boy is he excited to know I should cast on tomorrow. :) Zoe wants clogs too but her's will be pink, she's all into that color right now. Then... who knows, maybe something for ME? LOL! Carl wants to knit himself a pod-cover and got himself some wool in Toronto for his own project. He's being all serious about this and even borrowed some Addis, sheesh! this guy is fancy. ;)

New items I used to knit Bobbi Bear are the 40" cable for my Denise needle set, Chibi needles, used the swift to ball up the yarn for the project oh and followed the newly purchased pattern to knit said bear. All except the yarn was from Toronto. I'll tell more as the projects get knitted. LOL!

hugs,
