Mom's day 2005

Good morning and Happy Mother's Day to all the moms who day in and day out keep busy with kiddos that make us
crazy happy! If you think Lucas looks like a little mafia boy... well, the suit did come from a guy we know...

So it's mother's day and what better way to keep busy than to curl up on the couch and read a good novel about a yarn shop. Woohoo! This is the 1st book I'm reading from
Debbie Macomber, she has another one coming out this very month, A Good Yarn which is the 2nd book of the series. So this is my very own gift to myself on this special day. One of the kids has been testing my patience these past few days, making it hard to go out of the house... apparently tamper tantrums are fun to do... Argh!
Last night watched Ocean's Eleven and will be watching Ocean's Twelve tonight, great incentive to keep me up with all the stockinette knitting for the chickami. There is hope, I finally see the light as to the day I will be seperating front and back. LOL! Of course there's also a fear starting as I keep on knitting this project... What will I start on next? There's this cutie dress the Crumpets that I keep looking at, Zoe's birthday is this month also but then again, maybe a Hello Kitty top would suit her better... Oh dear, what to do...

The other night we went all out, ate cheese fondue, then a chinese fondue and wait, had to complete the meal with a chocolate fondue. Oh yeah, we are THAT wild! LOL! The meal was SO good and Zoe couldn't have been more proud of cooking her own food. I love fondue and would have it most nights but it does make for long meals as we ate for almost two hours. LOL!
Freebie alert: Dairy Queen offers a free sunday to all mom's today.
Have a lovely day,

I'm going to work on Crumpets as well. Whenever I find a yarn that substitutes LB Cotton Ease. And, if you find a Hello Kitty sweater pattern, let me know! I'll be my daughter's best friend if I made her a Hello Kitty sweater. :)
