Progress

Stockinette knitting can be boring, well that's if you don't give yourself an excuse to knit it maybe. I made sure that it wouldn't be boring by keeping my evenings busy watching movies. It's always a surprise by the end of the movie to see how much I progressed and it was a great way to see some movies, I've been wanting to check out. I am liking the pattern alot as mindless knitting is just what I needed right now. We just got our last paychecks and it's sinking in, it's tough as we have nothing to look forward too for the next few weeks.

This week, we watched
Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason and
Spanglish, ok we also watched the
Amazing Race. I'm so sad Gretchen and Meredith's team is now gone, I loved them. The declaration of love he made to his wife when they were eliminated just made my knees weak. They are adorable! :)

I'm sorry I forgot the quotes I loved in the movies though, I know one was similar to "I love you when you're on drugs Bridget" in the 1st movie and it was just so funny. LOL! Then in the 2nd movie, what I really liked were the life lessons that the father seemed to share. I learned alot as a parent with that movie, I loved the part where it's your job to worry about your kids and it was just so well said. I just can't remember the exact words of course...
We are off for a day in town but first, we have to stop at the best pancakes in town restaurant!
