Spring knitting

Ok it's starting to be too hot to wear my wool socks, anyone into cotton sock knitting? I can't believe I wouldn't wear any handknitting socks anymore until the cold weather comes back. I know Regia has cotton but are there great cotton sock yarns out there to try?

About work, it is still up in the air. It's very hard, my boss's reaction when he first learned it was my last week was shock, then on the last day (yesterday), he asked me if it were a definitive decision. I simply said, convince me I should go... I'm not holding my breath, though it's hard knowing that in less than 48 hours Carl will leave home for a month. Argh! :(

Hi Jo, I have a tip for cotton socks: try "Esprit" from the "sock it to me" collection at elann, it's 98.3% cotton and 1.7% elastic. It's stretchy and so the cotton bounces back, unlike other cotton yarns. Posted by: Mona at April 22, 2005 01:19 PM
Sorry I can't answer your yarn question. But which sock pattern do you use? I'm planning on making socks for people next Christmas so I need to practice, practice, practice! Posted by: Caroline at April 23, 2005 11:56 AM
