Starting number 2!

Gotta love how the internet can make distances disappear. Last night I was chatting with a friend from the States (waves to Crystal!) and two guys in the next province. I haven't talked to the guys in six months and it was like I had seen them yesterday, we chatted a few hours (no knitting as they type pretty fast) LOL! It was so nice to remember memories we had built from travelling east Canada with them last spring. I can not believe it's been six months or that no matter how far they are we had so much fun chatting up a storm, laughs were heard, smiles were typed and good friendships can stay strong no matter the distance.

Well as I am about to go to sleep I have finished the first hat, weaved in threads and all. Second up is a hat for Carl, I am sorta cheating, already, sight...If I knit a hat for him can I count it as a donated hat to a loved one? This Seaman's cap, looks warm, easy and somewhat quick to knit. Since we just got our 1st snowfall in Montreal, best to keep his head warm as my guy has a cold and I prefer him to be healthy instead of grumpy. ;)

Now what is our day going to bring us? An oven! What!? Indeed today we shall receive a brand spankin' new oven and I can't WAIT to back banana and chocolate chip muffins in it. How convenient, we have some bananas in need of baking and we haven't made muffins in a few weeks since the oven died on us. We had bought it used and it did it's thing as long as it could. It'll be fun to get a new appliance 'cause I'm quirky like that, I love getting new manuals and read through them, I may not cook but I'm the official owner's manual reader in this household.

p/s: Did you hear!? There's something to look forward too on monday!!!!!!

Wishing you are a great weekend, we will most likely visit THREE craft shows over the next few days. :)
hugs,
