This week I received one of the best compliments a knitter could get. I had knitted a baby hat as a gift in the spring and the mom just told me that the roll brim hat still fits AND it is her favorite baby gift that she has received. She is going to treasure it in her child's baby keepsakes box. I was so flattered to her this, I couldn't believe that one of my knits was going to be treasured like this. I never got to knit baby items for my own kids and it means so much that a mom thinks my little hand knitted hat is worth keeping as her favorite baby souvenir. I am so touched, you know?
Anyway I have been talking about Toronto all week to everyone I know and you know my company has an office in TO too and we've been talking about Toronto for a year now and ..... ACK! Can we move there already? Can you imagine if we did, I'd be so annoying blogging about all the wonderful yarn stores in the city and there many S&B's a week. I REALLY want to have that and we just don't have that in Montreal, the yarn stores just aren't as lovely as TO. So we aren't moving yet but I can still dream and try to convince Carl. LOL! ;)

Wishing all the Canadians a safe and happy thanksgiving! We don't celebrate it much in Quebec but my Ontario living family always made a huge deal out of this holiday. We might eat some PEI lobsters though instead of the regular turkey. LOL!
hugs,
