back to knitting

Just casted on for a pair of garter stitch slippers with cuffs. I little boring garter stitch is just what I need to get back into knitting mildly. I have seen a few projects I want to make, like baby booties and hat combo for a pregnant neighbor. Maybe I'll splurge on super nice baby yarn just for the kick too. Knitting for babies is so much fun and you can't deny it, quick. LOL!

Also I've been slowly working on my little Nova Scotia bookmark. I bought this cute kit at the museum of industry. It's coming along very nicely and it's such a pleasure to cross stitch. It's light than knitting and carries along pretty well in the subway too. No worries, I haven't stabbed anyone with my little needle. LOL!
