quick note!
Just a little entry to proudly announce that I have changed position's at work. I now have the ungrateful job of checking on the people I work with, which makes Walmart really happy. If I find an error it means our company is not doing it's job well. LOL! So yesterday I proudly found an error and was so proud, until my boss made me realise that errors were not so good. Oh well, I'm still learning! ;)
Carl is progressing VERY well too, he's name was on a top 5 list of people counting the most in the stores. He was so proud, of course a raise seems to me in his near future and I am working good until trying to earn one as well. ;) I finally feel confident in the new position I got, it's one that workers hope to get, of course I didn't know that until I got a few bad comments. I was really hurt this week by people I thought were my friends, maybe it's jealousy but I never had to deal with that. I know my speed is far from the other auditors that have worked there for a while. I haven't been with the company for two months yet but I finally feel at my place, starting to feel confident in my own work, that I am worth it too. You usually only hear when things are bad, so yesterday I blatantly asked my boss if I was doing good in my new position. He gave me the thumb's up and said I was doing very well. WOW! I little proud moment there. :)
Oh, one of the perks of being a recounter is getting to walk with a walkie talkie. LOL! Hey, that means you are someone important in a store and *I* got one! :-P So many times a day I had to call my boss to check up on counts I got. It's fun, I walk alot and feel a lot less pressure in my work now.
Started my celtic cap from Jenna, it's going well. A great pattern, though I am going at it slowly. It's my 1st time working cables from a chart, so many new symbols to learn. ;)
