life goes on

Walmarts are fun to count at BUT the sewing section is horrid, why do they need so many sewing accessories in one store? Ok, I'm joking here but within the week I am now the rolling door/rack expert counting all the sewing and quilting items in every Walmart. Counting sewing machines in easier. ;) I am getting faster at counting the watches, which need to be scanned one at a time even if the whole display is the same kind. Ugh! Beading pearls are a pain though, those little bags don't scan half the time and they are hard to count.

Don't get me started in counting yarn balls, the bigger sizes are ok but those fun fur type balls are so tiny, they pack them in so tight too. Anyway, I still enjoy the work immensly and that's the main concern. Got quicker this week too, almost made it to the $/hour average minimum they want. Carl is doing super well and now works doing the risers aka the top shelf of every section. He goes up and down the ladder all day long, quite the work out if you ask me. ;)

Knitted a bit but not enough to be happy about it, still knitting the sleeves of Zoe's sweater. I though I'd have more time to knit on the road but it's just so hectic. Sure we get out of the stores before 6pm but then we go back to the hotel room, relax, go out to eat supper then already we are beat for the night.

The good part is that this weekend we aren't working (that I know of) and next week we only sleep away from home once!!! After that we have 6 weeks where we will be sleeping home but getting up at like 3:30am. Now is that really a better option? LOL! I miss reading everyone's blog so much, I feel disconnected from my knitting friends. Hopefully spending more time home and having computer access will change that.

hugs, wishing everyone a safe weekend. I promise pictures some day, time, I need more time. ;)
