Hello 2004!
As my new year wish to you all, I wish you "just enough"!
Just enough money to enjoy the occasional splurge,
just enough rain to appreciate the sunny days,
just enough pain so that happier times are even more appreciated,
just enough good things to appreciate them,
just enough losses to appreciate what you have,
just enough new beginnings and only a few last goodbyes,
and of course, love but LOTS is always better than just enough. ;)
(this was badly translated from a french wish, hope you enjoy it nonetheless!)
No resolutions this year, I made some last year and never got around to them. This year, I hope to knit more for myself and others, I really like the charity knitting I started. I'm working on my very first sweater and it is so exciting! Maybe I'll knit myself some socks and check out the Knitty archives again. There's a bag I really like also. Hopefully, I will find time to knit at least one sweater for each kid. Slippers for myself wouldn't be too much, I just made a hole through the fuzzy feet after constant wearing for 10 months. ;)
So may this new year bring you more happiness than ever, you all deserve it and don't be shy to leave a little hello in my comments. I always enjoy a friendly note from you all. :)
