christmas eve

Zoe and I have been invited to go to the movies, we went to see Blizzard. and it was a perfect little movie for Zoe. They talk about figure skating in it, not just that but you can expect hearing little kids wanting to start skating after seeing it! ;) Zoe's godmother was treating us and in return I was responsible for the treats we be ate. LOL!

The movie was shot in Toronto and beautiful old Quebec city, which is "almost" local to us being 3 hours away. It was so nice to see the Chateau de Frontenac on the big screen and to hear a few jokes about Quebec. Well, not sure if the original english version has those same jokes but the movie was dubbed in province so they included a few 'inside jokes' that a french from France movie wouldn't include.

Anyway last day of shopping day to get everything done, surprisingly enough almost no crowds in the stores I went too. The supermarket was the most packed and I went there at the very end of the day, still I only had to wait for a person in front of me. No loooong lines like I thought. Went to pick up my "famous" cinnamon rolls for Christmas and New Year's day aka a package from Pillsbury. LOL! ;) Today I went to my favorite 2nd hand store: Value Village and found the most amazingly perfect gifts for the kids. The won't even care if they aren't new as they are new to them. On top of that, *I* found a pair of jeans and a knitted red hooded sweater, soooooooo nice. :)

Started a new charity hat, minty green and it'll be a ribbed hat. This morning I felt more down than I felt in a very long time , tonight is the total opposite. So many things are happening at the same time right now, hopefully for the best, I don't know but My hopes are back up instead of deep down like this morning. I won't tell more just to not jinx it. The hat is coming along well though, might finish it before Christmas gets here! ;)

Wishing you all a very safe and loving Christmas day. By the way here's a neat website for kids, follow Santa around the world: Norad tracks Santa!
