Coronet success

The kids had a Christmas party at the daycare today, it was a lot of fun. There was a clown/magician the kept them singing and dancing, parents got into it too. LOL! Kids get to go to daycare before Christmas so FINALLY I'll have time to finish our holiday preparations. Need to buy food because on wednesday stores are closed. Sheesh! ;) Things are looking happier here, haven't bought a tree after all but the kids think that Santa is the greatest person these days. Lucky them, they got to see him twice in a few days, they ran to say goodbye when he left the party today.

A part from the party, I did some knitting and completed the Coronet hat (sorry for the bad hat pic but I thought the kid was cute!). ;) I am pleased with it and shall try to block it, I have never blocked anything yet. LOL! Zoe asked if I was giving her the hat, SILLY child!!! The kids keep on stealing hats I have been knitting, you can notice the red hat Lucas is wearing in the picture below, it was charity hat #3. I am very tempted into knitting the small size Coronet for Zoe, I think she'd love it, also need to find some pink wool for her, she requested the color. lol!

Meet the Super Torpedo, our bright orange transportation sleigh. In Montreal with it's constant badly cleaned sidewalks, a sleigh/sled/tobbogan is the best way to get someone with kids. We brought our sleigh to a restaurant, shopping stores, I don't care if I look silly with it, the kids are a lot less tired when sliding along the snow instead of s-l-o-wl-y walking through it. Don't even think of taking a stroller out, you spend more time lifting the stroller over snowbanks than pushing it.

Wishing you all safe holidays. :)

The hat is lovely because of the model, and lovely by itself too! Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and God Bless. Posted by: Chris at December 23, 2003 12:30 PM
