more non-sense

Well dh left this morning for another weekend of work out of the city, we're hoping he'll be back by supper time on sunday. I find it so hard when he leaves for a few days. Our bathroom is somewhat done! LOL! The new walls in the shower have een installed but another wall only has beams on it. The tile flooring still needs to be ripped out and another wall still has the old tiles on it. It sure is a work in progress! LOL! At least dh has re-installed the bathroom door 5 minutes before leaving. ;)

Wrists are still killing me, turning a door knob with my right wrists kills me and that's not the worst wrist either. I'm trying to take things slow but I am itching to knit, so I very slowly started the 2nd cable hat. Last night, I felt like a "real" knitter! LOL! I bought Eucalan for the 1st time. teehee! It's mostly used for wool soakers but I guess it's good to wash wool projects in it too. I went for the plain old Eucalan with the pink top, guess I'm the weird one who actually likes the scent of encalyptus. :)

Other than that, not much news. I noticed that there's a whole in the felted fuzzy feet slippers I had knitted and have been living in for the past few months. Time to make new ones maybe. I need to knit myself a hat, not sure what yet, also a scarf! LOL! Nothing fancy, I might try that multi-direction pattern everyone has been trying. No I don't feel very original these days. Just so un-inspired from not knitting, I feel so slow, out of my normal knitting routine. Ok, cross that out, I think I'll design (YES, V. you read that right!) my own hat and scarf combo AND I'll buy expensive yarn because *I* deserve it! :stomping foot!: Ok, also because Canadian winters lasts about six months and they are pretty cold, so why not knit up something to my own taste and use some warm wool to keep me cozy! Oh.... just got an idea, off to play with PaintShopPro! :)

If anyone has the 1st issue of KnitIt! they are tired of holding on too. Please let me know. :)

Have a great weekend, tonight is Zoe's skating lesson, her 1st full lesson as a level 3 skater. BIG grin! :)

Be careful with your wrists, Jo... Maybe you should see a doctor for them. Posted by: Tori at November 7, 2003 05:02 PM
