More renovations

Renovations are going well in the bathroom, Lucas even got the hang of taking out nails with his hammer! He's so willing to help daddy, it's adorable! :) Took all the wall tiles out, they were green and about 1"X2" so there were tons of them. Then got to rip out the walls, dh has put new "walls" in (forget the correct term. We have a new shower head and 'handle' to control the heat of the water. We'll re-tile the floor, a new sink and cabinet should make their way to out house next week. Of course in the middle of all of this, dh needs to go back to work out of town for a few days! LOL! Hope he finishes before he leaves.

See the niiiiice blue badge? Well that is Zoe's 2nd skating badge, the glide forward! Yippppeeeeeeeeeeee! :) This was a total surprise, the testing is supposed to be done in December and she already got her 1st badge a month ago. I can't believe how fast she is improving. The CanSakte program says: the Stage 2 badge is awarded to skaters who master forward gliding skills. e.g. Forward half sit glide, two foot jump gliding forward. I am so proud of Zoe, she is doing well at her lessons, loves going to the rink twice a week. I think her teacher really helps Zoe strive, they work the program all hour long, she doesn't play as much catching bubbles likes other kids. Sure it's fun but Zoe is having her own fun, she gets to learn how to spin of ice and let me tell you, Zoe adores spinning! :)

As a little treat, we rented Finding Nemo. LOL! It's cheaper than buying the movie and gives us an indication as if the kids would really want us to buy it. It's funny when we went to see the Nemo movie, we had seen it in french. Renting the movie in english tonight, made me realize that Dory is name Dorothy in french. LOL! Here's a link where you can see who are the
voices behind the characters.
Taking a break from knitting is doing good for me, it's an excuse to get to some finishing touches on a few projects, I hate seaming and weaving in ends. I can let a project down for a few months well all is needed is to weave an end or two.
Wishing you all a great day,
hugs :)
