uh oh!

November the 4th! If you are the parent of a toddler you have been waiting for this day to come and it is finally here! Yes, go, run to any store and buy the Nemo movie! YEAH! :) I'll wait before we buy it simply to be sure to get it at the best price! LOL! Some places are offering a colouring book, a flashlight or a kids game. I really liked to see Nemo when it first came out at the movies. I know Lucas will be scared at a few places but I think he'll really be into the movie, as he LOVES the dozen of goldfish we have in the aquarium. Zoe is really eager to see the movie again. :)

On the knitting front, the 1st cable hat is done, this pattern really knits up quickly. I won't be knitting much more this week as I am taking an obligated break for a few days. First, my wrists are killing me, they'll hurt everyone once in a while but it's the left wrist they really pains me. Just waving hello, hurts, so I'll be relaxing for a few days. Also (just too make sure I wouldn't knit) I helped dh start out bathroom renovations. Dh even let me take off the tiles from one wall. So I was banging with a hammer on a screwdriver to help the tiles fall from the wall but in the process scraped 2 of my fingers. Right at the center knuckles too, so it hurts when I bend my fingers, you'll be sure that I can't hold yarn, nor knit like this.

Sure this makes for a boring knitter's blog entry BUT I can't say that I care. I am more than just a knitter and we will get a new bathroom out of this too! LOL! Dh will still let me play with his tools but this time I shall wear protective gear, it was a good lesson to the kids though! Playing with tools is dangerous kids, see how mommy was hurt? Then my two littles nurses proceeded to make me feel all better with colorful band aids and many kisses that melts the pain away.

http://www.mydailyyoga.com/yoga/rsi.html these hand exercises work wonders, i keep *trying* to get myself to do them daily instead of just when the twinges of pain come. Posted by: mare at November 4, 2003 10:26 AM
Jo - look up ergonomic hand exercises, too - as mare noted, they work best when you do them all the time. :) By the way - my glass head came from Garden Ridge Pottery, but I've seen them at Pier One, too. Posted by: Cyndilou at November 4, 2003 02:04 PM
