~*~Happy Birthday MOM!!!~*~Yup! Today is my mom's birthday, I love birthdays. :) This morning the kids will go to daycare for a nice 3 hours. It'll give me a chance to take out my mom for breakfast! :) My mom is one of my many heros, by age 21, she had lost both of her parents and when I was 9, I lost my own dad. She's been my rock for many years and I suspect I may have been hers. ;) She is one of my bestest of friends, I don't see her as a mom but mostly as a friend. Living so closely makes us fight sometimes but in the end we have a great relationship. I know I am lucky to have such a special bond with my mooooom! ;)
I'm having a blast knitting the daypack. [photo still to come!] The baby sweater in not on track though. I'm WAY behind for that. Tomorrow morning, I'll go to the mommy & coffee group and knit like crazy while the other moms talk, talk, talk. I usually don't have much to say to them, which is ironic if you know me in real life! LOL! I talk all the time! ;)
