I made up a little list of the books I am in search of.
If anyone has them and are willing to part with them for a good price, let me know. :) I would really like finding these books used aka at a cheaper price. I have 2 knitting books and I think it is time for me to explore a bit more of the knitting world. I've been window shopping on amazon.ca, amazon.com and indigo.ca this weekend. I can't believe the difference in prices in the same books. Sometimes it would even be cheaper to order a book from the States.
This weekend at the knitting get together, I understood that buy yarn (that always seems too expensive for me) is usually quite a good day anyway. If you look at how much it costs to knit per hour using said expensive yarn. Well it doesn't end up as expensive in the end. Especially when you don't knit fast either. ;)
Also I need to learn that frogging is my friend. I have to get over the fear that I'll mess up a pattern and need to start over. Its OK to do so, it is OK to need to re-start a project a few times before it being like you want. I just might try my hand at knitting a sweater 'cause it will be OK! ;)
