markers

We are having a wondreful weekend, the weather outside is hot and sunny and it's a pleasure to be out and about. Yesterday, we went out to buy Zoe's skate blade guard in purple, woohoo. Then, stopped by a yarn store I found some Regia yarn on sale, 3 balls for the price of 2, this is the same yarn I had seen when I was there a few weeks back resisting to buy it. LOL! Yesterday I did not resist, it was the whole reason I was going there, so happy the yarn was still there, I might just knit myself colorful mittens with it 'cause the yarn sure is colorful. LOL!

We walked and walked and went to the bead store. A few months back I went there to buy everything I need to make myself some stitch markers. Sadly enough I lost everything somewhere in this house, 20$ worth of glass beads and findings, I am so sad. We have looked everywhere for them and they are not to be found. Yesterday I only bought the finding needed and made just a few playing around with seed beads. I may make more tonight as they were fun to make, of course I still have hope that some day we will find the 1st beads I had bought for markers.

Zoe's mittens are coming along pretty fast, I am halfway done with the 2nd one. I need to finish the thumb of the 1st pair too. I have a hole on the inside, where the thumb connects to the hand, I hope to make it disappear. It isn't always easy for me to follow patterns, I have so many questions about the tiny details! LOL!

hugs,

I'm sad to say I've lost stuff in this house too. The latest is a hair clip I bought in Vancouver, nothing like it here in my town, so very annoyed I can't find it. Hopefully both it and your beads will show up very soon! Can't wait to see Zoe's mitts and yours eventually too. Posted by: Brenda at September 14, 2003 12:22 PM
Jo, your new MT home is so lovely! Happy anniversary! (I know I'm a little late, but hey, I'm on holidays!) I miss reading you every day. I'll update my link to you as soon as I get back from my holiday. :) Posted by: alison at September 14, 2003 04:54 PM
