R, for Rabbits

Ok after this post I'll stop talking about my sex life (LOL!) but for now I have to say it. We've been rabbits, we've been fooling around like crazy every night of this week. It sure is a problem to us to live with my mom who has seem to have insomnia this week too! LOL! We've like "will she ever go to sleep?" Ok end of my love life. ;)

I'm so HAPPY! :) I am easily pleased but it's so funny, yesterday dh and I were kid-less and talked about s*x all afternoon while walking down town. We learned alot about each other just by talking too. Now, it's REALLY the end on this subject. ;)

Today was the last time the kids went to see their friends at the daycare until next year. ACK! I know they will miss their friends in the next two weeks. I found little gifts for the 4 woman who take care of the kids. They each got a box with three tubes of bath "stuff", they included salts, confetti and caviar for the bath. I saw three of them open there gifts and they sure seemed pleased. I did reassure them that they all smell nice that it's for relaxing purposes! LOL! The younger of the "teachers" turned beet red when she received her gift. It was so sweet to see, I guess she didn't expect it at all. She's only 19yo but she's great with the kids, even I wish I had her as a friend! :) One of the ladies is leaving, sadly enough she is my favorite one. ;( She was filling in for someone else for 2 months, she had been there for 6 months prior to this and she can't stay any longer. You can really see her love for the kids, I wished she could stay at the daycare, both kids have learned alot with her there. This is the lady I'd send the kids for full-time daycare if she ever opened one. Needless the other "teachers" are good too, this one was just the best! ;)

I treated myself with some handmade soap and scrub yesterday. It might not be something I need but hey! it's Christmas and I treated myself that's all. It's not like I'll get many gifts... I should get one tomorrow from a friend, we are having lunch at her parents house. Then my mom should have bought me something and that's it. So, I splurge for MOI!!! :) We went to Lush yesterday and UGH! I don't like the hype all over this store, it's too expensive, not all that good smelling and I don't like the sellers attitudes there. So we walk a block more and arrive to my beloved Bella Pella and Oh my! I'm in heaven! The staff there is all really helpfull, they know their products as they make them themselves! I took a cold-process soapmaking class a few years back and I really want to take another one with dh, it'll refresh our memories about it and then we could make soap! :) They also offer classes on making masks and lotions. Right after the holidays I'm going to call them and ask about dates and prices. I am very eager to take a class like this. The 1st class we took was given by one of the owners of the little shop, she is one of the two girl who started this business right in their kitchen, so neat! :)

Wanna know what I bought myself at Bella Pella? LOL! I got: Amaretto moisturizing goat's milk & bitter almond and here's their description of the soap:

Amaretto liquor fans, this soap is for you! Contains ground coffee grains, which exfoliate the skin while the goat's milk deeply hydrates dry skin. Try not to give into your temptation to take a bite … it smells so good! Also in my gift giving to myself I purchased a Sugar Scrub for instand softening, they say it will do this: For deep moisturizing and removal of dead skin, try dabbing a little of this sherbet in your hand and work into a circular motion over legs and arms. Rinses off in shower. I now smell like an Amaretto shot. LOL! My mom smells the Huge soap bar each time she passes the bathroom. What is so nice about this gift for me is that it was WAY less than anything I could've bought at Lush and I'm simply in heaven. Merry Christmas to ME! :)

Well that's about it for now, I still need to pick up some food at Loblaws. We will most likely eat cheese fondue on Chritmas night and as we wait for Santa Claus we will feast on coquille St-Jacques. I have no clue what's the english name for these! ;) It's shrimps, fish and white sauce with cheese all cooked in a seashell. It's just a festive thing to eat, people usually eat seafood on new year's eve but we just ain't ordinary people! LOL! ;)

Well hugs to all, wishing everyone happy holidays!!! :)
