I am SO lame! UGH! I disappoint myself sometimes. As if I were brainless. Grrrrr!
So for the past few days, I was thinking of buying my own URL, to have my own addy on the web. I used to have playfelt.com, never did much with that name but still it was nice to have my own addy! LOL! So I thought of a name, martini.com. I searched it and it was GASP! available, much to my surprise. So I go and contact someone and pay to buy it. Well it dawned(sp?) on me to just try the addy. DUH! Not surprisingly enough it's taken, by oh lookie the Martini company. ARGH! I can't believe I really thought the addy was available for little ol'me to buy. I'm so disappointed, the site's concept was already all planned in my head. I head even searched for martini glass icons today and ARGH! I'm so LAME! :(
On another note, did I say already that Carl found a job? :) He's starting on January 6th at a food packaging plant. The mean contract of this company is packaging food for military meals. I think that's pretty neat! :) The new job place will be close enough from home so that dh can ride his bike to work in the summer. The pay is.... ok! LOL! Anything is better than nothing, so I'm pretty pleased! :) We just need to survive until then, I'm pretty confident but Christmas will be tight! Oh well... more handmade gifts to make! ;)
That's it for now, today is Sunday, a very non-productive day for our family! LOL! The kids each painted for a while on the easel. Dh woke up at 2pm, he's feeling pretty sick. I'm trying to pick up stitches from the sides on my 1st sock ever. That's pretty much it.
