copy from post I wrote elsewhere.
Well it started last night, right after I turned the computer off. We had alot of heavy storm and Zoe was scared of the lightning. We had planned to "camp in the livingroom" for the night but then Zoe threw up over almost the whole futon. Dh goes to bed at 10pm and Zoe threw up 3 times in about 15min. We changed everything, pj, pillow, blanket and sheet. Her mattress was right next to ours in the bedroom.
She didn't stop throwing up so we moved her to the livingroom. I went to bed with Lucas at 12:30am and then he started throwing up! I took a bunch of prefolds and stacked them all on top of each other. Each time Lucas was sick I'd take the top prefold off and all would be clean. {I remembered that idea from these boards} It was 02:15am by the time Lucas fell asleep.
By 5am, dh gets up for work and I can hear my mom talking to Zoe, so they both got no sleep this past night. Zoe is not tolerating water and my mom call the hospital and they suggested milk... That was NOT a good idea! Poor Zoe
Dh left for work at 05:30am, with me outside in jammies screaming all the nasty things I could think up at that time! He never realized that the kids were sick. WHAT!?!?!? So he is being a great insensitive Jerk today. "Well they need me at work!" he says. I do not care! He is needed at home too...
Anyway, Zoe just slept about 90minutes and she then fell asleep again. She is afraid of the "bucket" now! Don't want to throw up anymore. Lucas is sleeping in my arms, where else does he ever sleep? He hasn't nursed all night and he threw up water he drank this morning. I am afraid to nurse him and make this even worse.
Sorry this is long, this mama only slept 3 hours. My mom just went to bed to rest a bit. Poor Zoe she has her 1st play date scheduled today! I sure feel bad for having to cancel it but she's sooo weak. ACK!
At 8am, we'll go buy some of that Pedialyte stuff, I don't feel like measuring stuff and mixing it wrong or whatever. Can I just get a hug or something? Long day ahead.
*UPDATE*
Well Lucas had diarrhea all day and Zoe hasn't kept anything down, not even water. She just lost her supper and Lucas couldn't keep his lunch down, he didn't touch his supper.
So basically they both haven't kept anything down all day. They are in good spirits but I am getting pretty tired. I washed the hallway floor 3 times today and given them countless baths. Tomorrow we will go to the clinic if the night is as rough as last night!
