So I get a call at 07:30am yesterday! "I need you to pack my clothes, we're leaving for Toronto asap!" Hun!? 1- Don't wake me up if you won't come by in the hour 2- Don't scare me like that! lol!
The guys were packing someone stuff in the truck and learned this stuff had to go to Toronto! Humm... ok, can no one call and warn us that they will leave for the night!?
Anyway, Carl came home at 5pm, he ate supper with us and went to sleep. Him and Dan would leave with the truck at midnight, they'll get there 6 hours later. The unpacking of the truck should take 5 hours so they'll probably be home by supper time today. Well see...
It was 1am when we heard the company truck turn the corner. Carl was very anxious and excited to leave! He's such a baby! LOL! He bought himself a whole lot of snacks for the road! Hey! you're not leaving for 2 weeks! Also he bought a cigar! teehee!
Of course today I'll be checking the news to make sure they aren't in them! As he left yesterday we hugged and said we loved each other! We hugged!? Not even a peck on the cheek, it made me feel weird, very weird! As if we were old pals saying "oh be safe now!" So if this was the last time I saw him, I never got a kiss. I might be thinking too much of it but it still made me feel way weird.
So as dh was sleeping yesterday, my mom and I with the kids went to the park! They had a blast playing for more than an hour and when we came back, they cooperated at bath time and both fell asleep before Carl woke up! At least they weren't all over the place super hyped up like usual! ;)
The kids both slept well this past night. Of course mom on the other hand, did not! :( I was teary as I fell asleep and hugged a sweatshirt of dh's to fall asleep! I hope they are ok! What I'd give to be in Toronto today! Just walk around while they unpacked! LOL! Some day I hope we'll get to go together. Carl is really fun to travel with. :) The ultimate trip would be to bring him to my family's deep in the woods house! Man, he'd LOVE it!
My mom let me sleep an extra hour this morning. I think I must've needed it 'cause it felt really good! :) So on this day, July 15, I don't think we'll do much but hey, it's a happy day!
:)
