Lucas has a throat infection so he's on some antibiotics for 10 days. It might make him sleepy, GOOD! ;-) He's sleeping in his bed right now too! Woohoo!
My parenting class was very eye opening today, we had to answer a few questions and it really got me to understand how my oldest feels towards her little brother. I've been learning so much in the 2 classes I've taken from Carole this spring. I will be the first one in line in fall to take her next set of classes. I sure feel more in control as a parent from what I've learned and she gives a few classes on living life as a couple. I think we need that! LOL!
At 2pm, Carl had an interview. 02:10pm, he had the job! :-) He's now a moving company's helper. He helps people to move from one place to the other. I have to give it to him though, he'll always find a job. He's good at that, finding jobs, now he needs to learn to keep them! He needs to be at the warehouse at 06:45am so I better go tuck him in 'cause he's still up watching a movie.
Today, Carl and I, we've had a good day, it's been a long time since I've said that.
Oh the sewing machine repair guy came over and looked at the machine Carl found. He said there's no use, it's not worth paying to get it fixed. He suggested that 200$ might make it work but who knows for how long. I was bummed and Carl was even worst but I guess it was simply not meant to be. He really wanted to get it fixed for my birthday. He's so sweet.....
On another subject, I found my ex's phone number.... Today as we got a ride to dh's interview we passed my ex's home. It was weird to have those two things happen one after the other...
